The DCA curriculum begins with 9 basic
life principles. The principles are separated into
topical studies - one for each month of the full
curriculum.
Each topic is then illustrated through
several interactive lesson plans that relate to a
student's current frame of thought and strategically
presents an alternative way of thinking. |
|
Each of the 9 basic life principles is
divided into four sub-categories and given an in-depth
study during the course of each week.
Each individual category encompasses
three assignments and instruction is given in auditory, visual,
physical and written lesson plans to reach all types of
learners. |

Students in the Destination Christian
Academy are not graded against other students, nor are
they graded according to any predetermined
"standardized" testing.
Instead, students are given a preliminary
lesson and then are graded against themselves, according
to their own progress, growth and application within
each individual category of thought. |
|
"Lean not
unto your own understanding for my ways are not your
ways, my thoughts are not your thoughts." |
|
"Study to
show thyself approved,
a workman rightly dividing the
word of Truth." |
|
"...and
thereby put me to the test, if I will not open the
windows of heaven for you and pour down an overflowing
of blessings." |
